VTT™ SHELL MATERIAL

VTT™ is short for Variable Thickness Technology and is our unibody polypropylene shell and manufacturing process, and basically means that we can do, and have done a lot of special small things with these shells in order to optimize strength and light weight in a very tidy package. We really love polypropylene
for its strength, its stability, and its elastic properties, but perhaps more than anything for the beautiful shapes, structures and rich details we can create with it. Polypropylene used to be a heavy, boring, but very stable material. With the help of some EPIC energy and our VTT process it is now lightweight, dynamic, and still very stable. All EPIC® VTT™ cases are also equipped with our awesome EPIC® FullARMOR™ warranty. EPIC® VTT™ Unibody polypropylene outer shell material is used on Phantom™, Jetstream-AIR™, and NeoX Re:FRESH™.

With our new CarpetKing wheels you can now easily roll over most any surface with less friction and better flotation than ever! The totally new design of these wheels provides unsurpassed flotation on a myriad of surfaces from yes, carpet (!), to cobblestones, grooved drainage channels.

TSA LOCK™ BY TRAVEL SENTRY®

When travelling to the United States, the Transportation Security Administration “TSA” screens every passenger’s baggage before it is placed on an airplane. While technology allows us to electronically screen bags, there are times when TSA needs to physically inspect a piece of luggage. The TSA has worked with several companies to develop locks that can be opened by security officers using universal “master” keys so that the locks may not have to be cut. Products from EPIC® marked with the Travel Sentry symbol are equipped with approved locks from Travel Sentry, and meet the standards for global travel security.

ULTRA SLIM™

This is a further refined cabin size concept that optimizes even the width of the case and gives us the maximum allowable dimensions of 55cm height, 40cm width, and, of course, 20cm depth. This is a size format that we use for many of our hard sided cases. 

AIRSPEED® COMPONENTS

Airspeed® components are designed and manufactured with ergonomics, low weight, high performance, and durability as highest priorities. You can expect comfort, great performance, and a long service life. All Airspeed® components can even be replaced in the event that they become damaged or you wear them out. It doesn't get much better than Airspeed®!

Products with this warranty are covered by the EPIC® FULL ARMOR™ WARRANTY for a period of 7 years from the date of purchase. If the shell of your case should break for any reason, even due to third party (such as airlines) handling, we will replace the case at no charge, anywhere in the world.
